John McIntyre is an American 🏷️#entrepreneur and the co-founder and CEO of Caltana, a pricing platform for the commercial real estate services industry that he started in 2021. He is also a co-founder of 📝Kachinga, a financial literacy app paired with a debit card for kids. McIntyre holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in industrial engineering from Kansas State University.
McIntyre began his career as a management consultant at 📝PRTM and was the first employee at 📝Interliant, a web hosting company. In 1999 he co-founded 📝Affinity Internet, a web hosting and online marketing roll-up that raised $60 million in a single round and was later sold to Hostway. He went on to found PixelFish, a video production company serving small-business websites, and then Sightly, a digital video advertising and analytics company focused on locally targeted campaigns.
John and I met at Harvard Business School, became fast friends, and have worked together since 1994 — as consultants at PRTM, at Interliant, and as co-founders of Affinity Internet, PixelFish, Sightly, and Kachinga. From PixelFish on, John was the founder-CEO and I was co-founder and board member. It's good to have a partner and friend you can trust.
