Mythos

The 📝Astra Lumina Wedding Festival was the June 2026 matrimonial ceremony and "wedding festival" uniting and celebrating a 📝Triad of three amazing friends, each a multi-dimensional 📝Multi-Hyphenate. The 15-hour festival started with a 2 PM ceremony that ended with the happy throuple asking to "not be celebrated 'at', but rather celebrated with." It was followed by a pool party reception, a fancy food truck feast with spectacular toasts, an energetic dance party kicked, tea lounge hangs, zip lining, 📝AcroYoga, fire dancing, a tattoo artist, and so much more. It was filled with 📝Quality Time with new and old 📝Friends of Resonance, rich 📝co-creativity in celebration of 📝love, and 📝presence in 📝play.

While the festival went for 15 hours, some were present for build and or breakdown of the wedding festival. I was also staying at their house—with ten people, two kids, and the three of them—so I got maximal exposure for the entire week. I didn't realize it until I got home, but I was one of the first non-family members to arrive and the last non-family member to leave, spending four hours shy of a full seven days immersed in the yummiest of energies.

To add another dimension to my experience of such, I was also the wedding officiant.

I was honored to be asked and also overwhelmed by the magnitude of the moment. When I asked them what they wanted for their ceremony, they anchored on the request that I "be authentic"... so I spent the week before the wedding asking each them probing questions, some more covertly than others, to craft the truest representation of their love and their ceremonial union. I had such a magical time crafting 📝my wedding officiation speech, in many cases next to each of them authoring their vows all interspersed between the craziness of the build. In the final hours, each of them shared their vows with me—sometimes for feedback and other times with pride. I was the only one of the four of us that knew, going into the ceremony, that we'd each written with similar 📝frames of storytelling, similar language, and even some of the same metaphors. For a brief moment, I felt like I had the closes front row seat to the beautiful love story.

By the end of the week, the charge of my heart was over 9,000% while my social and physical batteries were below 10%. The come down from that high was HARD and it felt like it took me a week to orient back to reality, but damn was epic.
