Mythos

Netic is an AI revenue and growth platform for essential-services businesses, founded in 2024 by Melisa Tokmak and based in San Francisco. Its AI agents book jobs with customers over call, text, and chat and write them into the company's CRM, automating the front-office workflows of industries like home services, where roofers, plumbers, and HVAC contractors keep America running. The product targets large operators in real-world industries that have historically been underserved by software.

Netic's premise is that essential-services enterprises face constraints — human labor, compliance, logistics, physical infrastructure — that keep them locked out of the frontier technology digital-first companies take for granted, and that AI trained on real operational signals can close that gap. The "Netic Brain" is positioned as service-industry-specific rather than a generic chatbot, automating client outreach and intake to help these businesses grow on autopilot. The company has raised roughly $43M, including a $20M Series A in 2025 co-led by Founders Fund and Greylock and a $23M Series B in late 2025 led by Founders Fund.

I run the growth and GTM engineering engine here, which is exactly why this space is interesting to me: the playbooks built for startups selling to startups break the moment you point them at the businesses that actually keep the lights on.
