power | noun | (1) ability to act or produce an effect, (2) possession of control, authority, or influence over others, (3) a source or means of supplying energy. [1]
"Power is much more easily manifested in destroying than in creating." ~ Wordsworth, Preface to The Borderers, 1976
“You will continue to suffer if you have an emotional reaction to everything that is said to you. True power is sitting back and observing things with logic. True power is restraint. If words control you that means everyone else can control you. Breathe and allow things to pass.” ~ @Warren Buffett
My Power
In June of 2018, the @Harrison Assessment found me to be a 10 in 'Helpful' and a 4 in 'Assertive'; expressed as 'Self-Sacrificing' behavior. When under stress, however, I would shift to become an 8 in Assertive and a 1 in Helpful; expressed as Dominating behavior. Since my Harrison Assessment, I have changed much of my @Word Lens to reflect "mutually helpful" outcomes.
