Mythos

Chat gives every library owner a personal AI collaborator inside 📝Chat & RAG — grounded in your library, able to read, write, and research on your behalf, reachable from anywhere in MythOS. It exists so your AI relationship doesn't live in a separate tool disconnected from what you actually know. It's for owners who want an active collaborator, and for visitors who want grounded answers about a creator's work.

Key Capabilities

  • One universal entry point — a floating chat panel reachable from anywhere in the app, aware of the page and memo you're viewing
  • Standalone surfaces — the same chat also embeds directly on a creator's chat page and profile page
  • Agentic for owners — create, update, search, and read memos; manage templates; look up tags; and run a web search, all mid-conversation
  • Grounded for visitors — retrieval-augmented answers about the library, without the owner's write tools
  • Full context — your four 📝Augmentation System memos, your templates, and your tag library load automatically for owner sessions

Getting Started

  1. Click the sparkles button, available from anywhere in MythOS
  2. Ask a question or give an instruction — the agent has your library's context automatically
  3. On a memo page, the agent already knows which memo you're viewing

FAQ

  • Does the agent overwrite my memo when I ask it to update something? No — it reads existing content first and merges additions rather than replacing.
  • Can I close the chat while the agent is still working? Yes, for owner sessions — tool calls finish server-side even if you navigate away; you just won't see the response text.
  • How many actions can the agent take per message? Up to five sequential tool calls in one turn — enough to chain research, reading, and writing together.
  • What can visitors do that owners can't? Nothing extra — visitors get grounded Q&A only, without any of the owner's write tools.
