Creator Profile in 📝MythOS is the 📝Profile & Social page a reader lands on to size up a library — avatar, bio, social links, a chat box wired to your memos, and whichever stats you have chosen to publish.
A library is a body of work, but a stranger arriving at a memo has no way to see the shape of it. The profile is the page that answers "who wrote this, and what else is here" without making anyone dig.
It is for any creator whose writing is public — and specifically for the moment a reader decides whether to keep going.
Key Capabilities
- Four public surfaces — a memo list, a creator memo, this profile card, and a standalone chat page.
- Bio and six links — a 300-character bio plus YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, website, and email.
- Chat on the page — a compact chat embed, with your conversation starters offered as opening prompts.
- Newsletter subscribe card — shown to visitors when your newsletter is enabled.
- A stat card you control — choose which library stats appear publicly and drag them into order.
- Indexing threshold — search engines are offered the page once the library clears a content floor.
Getting Started
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- Write a bio of up to 300 characters — it renders clamped to three lines.
- Add any of the six social links; they always display in a fixed order.
- Add up to three conversation starters of 100 characters each; visitors see them as chat prompts.
- Under Public Stats Visibility, switch stats on or off and drag them into the order you want.
- View the result at
/me/{username}/profile.
FAQ
- What is the difference between the four pages?
/me/{username}is your memo list and the page crawlers follow;/profileis this bio-and-stats card;/creatoris a real memo you can edit like any other;/chatis your library chat on its own page. - Can I add a hero image or pinned memos to the profile card? No. Hero images and pinned memos belong to memos and to your feed — the profile card renders neither.
- When do search engines index my profile? Once your library holds at least ten qualifying memos and you are on 📝Scholar or 📝Oracle. A memo qualifies when it is public, not trashed, and either 200 characters or longer or carries two or more distinct mentions.
- What does a reader see below that threshold? Exactly the same page. Only the crawler is told not to index it; nothing is hidden from people.
- What is the
/creatorpage? A memo provisioned for you automatically. On Scholar or Oracle it is created public; on other plans it starts link-only. - Does the old
/authorURL still work? Yes — it permanently redirects to/creator.
