Profile Stats in 📝MythOS are the seven library numbers 📝Profile & Social can publish on your creator page — how long you have been here, how much you have written, and how recently you were at it.
Anyone can describe themselves as a prolific writer. A count drawn from the library itself is harder to claim and faster for a reader to read, which is why these are computed rather than typed.
It is for creators whose public page is doing work for them — and it is entirely opt-in, stat by stat.
Key Capabilities
- Seven stats — Creator Since, Memos Created, Created Today, Created (30 Days), Edits Today, Edited (30 Days), Days Journaled.
- Four on by default — the first four are shown unless you say otherwise; the three activity stats start hidden.
- Per-stat visibility — each is switched on or off individually, not as a block.
- Drag to reorder — the order you set on the settings page is the order visitors see.
- Computed on read — every number is derived from your library when the page loads, never stored stale.
- Ungated — stats and their visibility controls are available on every plan.
Getting Started
- Go to Settings → Profile and find Public Stats Visibility.
- Switch each of the seven stats on or off.
- Drag the rows to set the order they appear in.
- Check the result on the Stats card at
/me/{username}/profile.
FAQ
- Does "Memos Created" count my private memos? Yes. It counts everything you have written regardless of visibility, so the total is public even though the memos are not. Hide the stat if that matters to you.
- What exactly is "Days Journaled"? A run of consecutive days on which you created at least one memo of 200 characters or more, counted backwards from today and stopping at the first day you missed.
- Why does it read zero in the morning? Because the count starts at today. Until you have written 200 characters today, the run has no first day and shows zero.
- Is that the same as a habit streak? No. 📝Streaks counts per-habit chains in your daily memo under different rules — the two numbers are computed separately and will not match.
- Do the stats update immediately? Yes. They are recalculated each time the profile is read.
