Augmentation System is the set of four living identity memos inside 📝Augmentation that define your collaborative relationship with your AI — visible, editable, and portable to any client that connects via MCP. It exists because a settings page can't hold a relationship; these are documents the human and AI both write to and read from as the collaboration evolves. It's for anyone who wants their AI to actually know them, not re-learn them every session.

- Review your four system memos — each is auto-created and editable directly
- Set your autonomy level, and tag any extra memo you want your AI to always carry with the augmentation context tag

- Are the four system memos ever truncated for space? No — they're always included in full; only additional tagged memos are subject to the shared budget.
- How much can I add beyond the four system memos? Roughly 32,000 characters total across everything, system memos plus additional context, filled by most-recently-updated first.
- What does the autonomy level actually control? Whether your AI edits these memos on its own (Autonomous), proposes changes for approval (Collaborative), or never touches them (Manual) — it's respected by MythOS's own chat, and travels with your library in the MCP payload for any client that honors it.
- Do these memos work outside MythOS's own chat? Yes — any MCP-connected client (Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, and others) can load them as MCP resources or through the required context call.
