Accounts, Auth & Security is the part of 📝MythOS Platform & Account that decides who gets into your library and what leaves it. It covers signing in, adding a second factor, seeing which devices hold a session, exporting or deleting everything you have written, and choosing what tracking you consent to.
How It Works
Your account is one identity across the whole platform — an email and password, optionally a linked Google account, and, if you enroll one, an authenticator app. Every sign-in method is managed from a single Security page rather than scattered through the app.
Each successful sign-in opens a session that is recorded, not just held in your browser. That record is what makes devices visible and revocable, and what gives you a login history to check against when something looks wrong.
The rest of this domain is about the data behind the account rather than the door: a full export you can download on demand, a deletion that is scheduled rather than instant, and consent settings that decide whether analytics and marketing tools run for you at all.
Features
- 📝Signing In — email and password or Google, with verification, password reset, and linked accounts
- 📝Multi-Factor Authentication — a TOTP authenticator app enrolled from Settings → Security, a code at sign-in, and single-use recovery codes
- 📝Sessions & Devices — every active session with its device and last activity, revocable one by one
- 📝Account & Data — account details, avatar, a full data export, and scheduled deletion
- 📝Privacy & Consent — analytics and marketing consent, region-aware and resettable
Getting Started
Start at Settings → Security for sign-in methods, two-factor, active sessions, and login history. Settings → Account holds your details, your data export, and account deletion, and Settings → Privacy holds consent. None of it is gated by plan tier.
