How to switch the Apple account linked to your MythOS profile, or change which email Apple shares with it.
Apple remembers the first choice you made for MythOS, both the Apple ID and whether to share your email or use Hide My Email, and reuses it every time. To change either, disconnect Apple in MythOS, tell Apple to forget MythOS, then link again.
What You'll Need
- A MythOS account with another way to sign in, such as a password or Google. MythOS won't let you disconnect your only sign-in method.
- The Apple ID you want to link, not already linked to a different MythOS account. Each Apple ID can belong to only one.
Steps
- Open Security settings — Go to Settings → Security and find Connected Accounts. Apple is listed with the email it currently shares.
- Disconnect Apple — Click Disconnect on the Apple row. Apple leaves the list; your account and library are unchanged.
- Find MythOS in Apple's list — Open the Passwords app on your Mac or iPhone and search for MythOS. The entry is labeled "Sign in with Apple".
- Stop using Apple with MythOS — Click Edit, then Delete, then confirm Stop Using. Apple forgets MythOS and your earlier email choice.
- Wait a few minutes — Apple takes a moment to register the change. Linking right away can bring back the old choice.
- Link Apple again — In Connected Accounts, click Link Apple and sign in with the Apple ID you want. When Apple asks, choose Share My Email or Hide My Email.
- Confirm the link — You return to Security with Apple listed again. It shows the email you just chose.
