Connecting with your Quickbooks is the first step of a 📝Weekly Accounting engagement: the client grants 📝BrightZen Systems 📝"Accountant Access" to Quickbooks Online so the team can read the company's 📝Vital Signs.
The approach borrows from medicine. A doctor collects a patient's vital signs, such as blood pressure, before offering a diagnosis; in the same way, BrightZen collects a company's vital signs from the data its business applications emit, starting with the accounting system. Accountant Access is requested because it does not use one of the client's QuickBooks user licenses and lets the team work with more capable connection tools.
Once 🏷️#connected, the QuickBooks data is loaded into 📝BigQuery and connected to the team's 📝Supported Stack of tools. From there the work begins: the first findings fall into the 📝Categories of Insight, such as the quality and timeliness of bookkeeping, cash management, and revenue recognition, and the same data supports the analysis described in 📝Insights in identifying financeable equations.
