Howitzer was a 🏷️#marketing-automation tool that enables anyone to find and message potential leads on 📝Reddit, at scale. Howitzer is based on direct or 1-on-1 marketing. Using Reddit metadata, the algorithm understands which users are part of your potential audience, extracts them, and sets up personalized direct message campaigns. The platform uses smart limits to mimic human behavior and send messages at a safe pace while still allowing for automation.

The key here is targeting: seeing the activity of a user across different subreddits, Howitzer gives you a clear idea of the needs and wants of your users. It can match them with relevant queries of marketers, creating a win-win situation. This results in an average 41% response rate for Howitzer customers, which is over a magnitude better than a typical targeted cold email campaign languishing with only 3%.

We discovered Howitzer through our community and later became its 📝Fractional CMO and one of its top affiliates. We use Howitzer to service most of our 📝Reddit Marketing projects.
