Hey Legend,
Writing this email will be an exercise of my intentions.
I thrive on opportunities to extend my resonance authentically. I am conscious of how I choose to communicate my perspective as my words will solidify my perception, and perception of reality is our reality.
As 📝Alan Watts said in 📝The Wisdom of Insecurity,
"You do not have a sensation of the sky, 📝you are that sensation. For all purposes of feeling, your sensation of the sky is the sky."
In this way, our words create our worlds.
Today, we often communicate too fast to communicate with intention. We allow ourselves to fall prey to the 📝Authoritarian Technology of our hyper-connected culture and unintentionally affirm our anxieties. Case and point, it's taken me two hours to write the 140 carefully chosen words above.
📝Trevor Soares—my advisor that's a bit like a hybrid of Elon, Kanye, and Buddah—has been berating me with kindness for months to help me see where I had been affirming against myself. Trouble was, he's not always around and I'd been slipping into old patterns. I was reminded of 📝Neil Strauss' remark,
"Our devices and technology have gotten to know us so well that we now need devices and technology to protect us from them."
I kept joking it'd be helpful to have "a spiritual version of Clippy" so...
