Neil Strauss is an 🏷️#author and journalist with ten New York Times bestsellers to his name, and a former New York Times cultural critic and contributing editor at Rolling Stone. He is best known for The Game, his 2005 account of going undercover in a subculture of pickup artists, and its companion volume Rules of the Game.
Strauss followed The Game with The Truth: An Uncomfortable Book About Relationships, published in 2015, an autobiographical investigation of sex addiction, infidelity, 🏷️#non-monogamy, and intimacy that documents his attempts to build a lasting relationship after leaving the seduction community. His other books include Emergency and Everyone Loves You When You're Dead, and he has co-written with musicians and public figures — among them Kevin Hart, whose I Can't Make This Up: Life Lessons became a number one New York Times bestseller.
