Objective

Your Place Tonight is a novelty email forwarding software — the Meticulously Ridiculous byproduct of a #drunken-idea — which allows visitors to utilize the @yourplacetonight.com domain as a cheeky pickup line. The user experience was tailored for and submitted to Reddit's r/internetisbeautiful; a community dedicated to awesome websites that offer a unique service; single-purpose websites with minimalistic designs. The website garnered over 11,000 pageviews and 600 signups within its first 30 minutes and was monetized with the footer stating, "Reddit Hug of Death prevented by InMotion Hosting" with a corresponding affiliate link. While complimented for its breaking of the Fourth Wall, the submission was removed for violating the "websites that require a login or email address" rule.

Plans for relaunching the website and software have been drafted to increase entertainment and engagement value by adding depth to the project and guiding more intelligently monetization.
