The One Inc Cooperativepatronage distribution is a return on profits relative to a member's contributions when their equity is current. We account for multiple Types of Capital contributed by Citizens of One and chronicle each exchange in One Ledger as Resonance Dollars (R$).
Each profitable year, the General Manager of the cooperative recommends a patronage dividend to the Board of Directors. A portion of this dividend is returned as a patronage refund check to eligible members each July, based on their contributions from the prior fiscal year.
While One Inc Cooperative does not issue patronage distributions during unprofitable years, there are many other tangible benefits of membership, such as our Member Work program, discounts through our Community Connections, and owning a business with your friends.
