/u/brianswichkow is my account and handle on 📝Reddit. The use of a real name—rather than an alias—is uncommon for non-celebrities as 📝Redditors detests 📝Self-Promotion. This is due largely to the incongruence with the community nature of the 📝Democratic Platform where no one individual is (supposed to be) more important than another and all contribute to the collective whole. As such, I'm focusing exclusively the 📝evangelism of those who 📝Build cool shit and change the world.
The use of my real name, as well as my biography (shown below) which introduces me as a "Reddit Marketing Expert", is intended as a 📝Fourth Wall break. Redditors typically perceive marketers as faceless intruders and defend their community against such. However, in late 2018, I hypothesized that the presence of a face would enable dialogue and make space for trust to develop.
