Mythos

Entrepreneur on Fire (often abbreviated EOFire) is a daily entrepreneur-interview 🏷️#podcast hosted by 📝John Lee Dumas, launched in 2012 with the explicit constraint of releasing a new long-form interview every single day — a publishing cadence Dumas maintained for years and which became the show's defining commercial feature.

Episodes typically run twenty to forty minutes and follow a tightly structured interview format walking each founder through their worst entrepreneurial moment, their biggest lesson, and a series of rapid-fire questions; guests have included 📝Tim Ferriss, 📝Tony Robbins, 📝Gary Vaynerchuk, 📝Barbara Corcoran, and 📝Seth Godin among thousands of others. Dumas has built a broader business around the podcast — including the Podcasters' Paradise training community, EOFire-branded mastermind groups, and a long-running monthly income-and-expense report — making EOFire one of the earliest and most visible examples of a podcast as the front door of a multi-product creator business.

I was introduced to Entrepreneur on Fire and John Lee Dumas in 2014 by 📝Pat Flynn of 📝Smart Passive Income and 📝Jamie Tardy of 📝Eventual Millionaire who were in a mastermind group with him. All three of them were substantial influences on me at a time when I was getting into podcasting and passive income.
