Mythos

Webflow is a visual website-building and content-management platform founded in 2013 by Vlad Magdalin, Sergie Magdalin, and Bryant Chou. It lets designers and marketers build production websites visually — generating clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — without hand-coding, paired with a CMS, hosting, and increasingly AI-assisted workflows. The platform is widely used by marketing teams to own and ship web experiences without engineering bottlenecks.

Webflow reached its fourth iteration before gaining traction, nearly failing several times along the way, and went on to become a leading platform in the no-code and visual-development market. It differentiates from template-driven site builders by giving precise design control and from traditional CMS tools by collapsing design, content, and hosting into one system. The company raised a $72M Series A in 2019 led by Accel and a $120M Series C in 2022, reaching a $4B valuation, and has since repositioned around an AI-era "agentic web marketing platform" framing.
