Deal Team, as used at 📝Assembled Brands, is the entirety of the operation that brings investment opportunities for the 📝Investment Committee to consider: general management, origination and underwriting.
The term covers three functions. General management includes executive management, finance, accounting and legal. Origination covers marketing, business development and sales. Underwriting covers opportunity evaluation, analysis and presentation. The Deal Team brings opportunities forward; the decision on each belongs to the Investment Committee.
