Mythos

Anand Kulkarni is a technology 🏷️#entrepreneur and computer scientist who founded 📝Crowdbotics in 2016 and led it as CEO. As of 2026 his public profile lists him as CEO of CoreStory, the code-intelligence product that grew out of Crowdbotics. His work spans crowdsourcing, human computation, and AI-assisted software development.

Before Crowdbotics, Kulkarni co-founded LeadGenius, a Y Combinator–backed company that used human computation and deep learning to automate account-based marketing, and served as its chief scientist. He studied industrial engineering and operations research, mathematics, and physics at the University of California, Berkeley, and entered its operations research PhD program with a National Science Foundation graduate research fellowship. He has published more than a dozen papers in ACM, AAAI, and IEEE venues and was named to a Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

Before meeting Anand, I read his paper on 📝Subcontracting Microwork because I'd mentioned 📝Specialized Digital Micro Tasks to 📝Victor Echevarria. "You guys are kindred spirits," Victor told me.
