An Electrical Engineer is someone who designs and develops new systems, tests hypotheses, and solves problems by applying the physics and mathematics of electricity, electromagnetism, and electronics.
Electrical engineers apply these principles to both large- and small-scale systems that process information and get work done.
Computer engineering is a closely related field that covers how computers work from the silicon and basic logic functions up through complete systems, such as displaying a 4K image in a small window on a giant screen. The skills from both fields — seeing patterns, building databases, and applying math — carry over into business.
I studied electrical engineering at 📝Clarkson University and 📝Syracuse University and applied it in 📝General Electric's Edison Engineering Program. I also studied computer engineering. In business I use these skills to see patterns, build databases, apply math and drive results.
