Mythos

Holding pattern is a habitual tension the body keeps even at rest, often outside awareness.

A shoulder that never drops, a jaw that never unclenches, a low back that is always "on": the person is still working when the task is over. In ๐Ÿ“Postural / Structural Realignment these are the patterns the session is actually for โ€” not a one-time stretch of a sore spot. You are not broken; you are patterned. The hold is information about how the system learned to stay upright or safe, not a diagnosis of trauma or of a disease in the tissue.

Clients often do not feel the hold until it lets go. The work meets it with time, breath, and a new option, then checks whether standing still can stay quiet. Forcing a release produces bracing, not ease.

Outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.
