Rich Lonbay, who performs as Daktyl, is a Los Angeles–based, UK-born electronic 🏷️#music-producer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ. His output ranges from bass-heavy, trap-leaning electronic music to more introspective downtempo electropop, layering complex beats with guitars and vocals. He began producing in the UK as a teenager and was signed to Diplo's Mad Decent label while still at university, releasing his debut album, Cyclical, in 2015.

Lonbay has since released on Ninja Tune's Counter Records (the EPs The Act of Hesitation and Riyaaz) and on Monstercat, and has toured with and remixed for major acts — touring alongside ODESZA, Bonobo, Slow Magic, and Giraffage, and producing remixes for artists including Major Lazer and Halsey. He has been featured by Billboard and Rolling Stone's "Artists to Watch" and was selected as Zane Lowe's "Next Hype" on BBC Radio 1.
