Hey Legend,

"Those who think they have no need of others become unreasonable."
~ Vauvenargues, Reflections and Maxims, 1746

Earlier this week, I attended 'Wolf Tribe' with 📝Clark Vautier which he had explained was "a men's gathrting at the home of 📝Philip Folsom; a professional team builder." Philip, aka 'The Firekeeper' for the gathing, is an anthropologist and military veteran who builds teams into tribes; often by facilitating retreats to wolf sanctuaries as he mirrors the wisdom of the pack.

While our (human) society has glamorized the concept of a "lone wolf", in nature, they are usually the lowest member of a pack that was driven out and are most often in search of a new pack. Wolves survive better as a group, hunt better as a group, and are, generally speaking, social animals.

Lone wolves die. The pack survives.

Philip explained that, like wolves, "[humans] are a kinship based organism [...] designed at a cellular level to be amongst friends and family." Yet, in today's society, we're often surrounded by people and left feeling entirely alone.

In 📝The Ascent of Humanity, author 📝Charles Eisenstein attributes this to what he calls this the 'Age of Separation' and says, "technology is both a cause and a result of our separation from and objectification of nature."

"The internet was supposed to homogenize everyone by connecting us, but instead what it's allowed is silos of interest." ~ 📝Seth Godin

Similarly to Philip's work re-unifying teams, Seth Godin argues the same of media, saying "the internet has ended mass marketing; no longer can we hypnotize people into adopting average ideas with advertising."

Instead, a human social unit from the past is being revived; 📝tribes. Founded on shared ideas and values, tribes give ordinary people the power to lead and make big change. In his 📝TED Talk, 'The Tribes We Lead', Godin urges:

"Find something worth changing and then assemble tribes that assemble tribes that spread the idea and spread the idea."

For me, exploring these packs and tribes manifested a new perspective of the 📝Journey To One; it's a chronicle, and not (yet) a culture.

We're on a mission to 📝Elevate The Human Frequency and see that as being accomplished by facilitating conscious awareness that we are all 📝One.

"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
~ African Proverb

The vision for what I'll now call 'Tribe of One' is still materializing and I'm eager to her your reflections of this email. In the 📝Journey To One: Chat, we've been discussing a kind of '📝Constitution For Consciousness' as a material means of quantifying an immaterial goal; a tool for measuring citizenship to the tribe.

Whether through acts of 📝Artful Advocacy, support of conscious commerce, or other uplifting means; let me know where we can elevate the human frequency together. Where do you feel we, as an organism, should grow?

📝Build cool shit and change the world.

P.S. Your responses to these emails and your reflections of their ideas mean the world to me. I am so happy and grateful for every word (and emoji) shared.
