Alex Owen is an #entrepreneur, AI solutions engineer, and #community-organizer. He is the founder of a stealth startup focusing on applying @Large Language Model (LLM)s to software development and technical writing as well as being the @MLOps community. He also advises early-stage companies on strategy, @Go-To-Market (GTM), and engineering. Previously, he was Chief Technology Officer at Fion Technologies, where he directed computer vision work for wildfire-spread analysis and shipped a mobile app for wildland firefighters. Earlier roles include product management at Coinmine and partnership at A-Level Capital, a student-run venture fund. He earned both a B.S. and an M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. His skills span NLP, LLMs, MLOps, Python, and compiler optimization.
