The MLOps#community is a global collective dedicated to advancing the discipline of @Machine Learning (ML) Operations (MLOps) founded by @Alex Owen. It was founded to meet the growing need for real-world knowledge sharing among practitioners deploying machine learning systems at scale. Positioned at the intersection of engineering, data science, and operations, the community fosters practical insights from those actively working in the field. Centered around collaboration, education, and open discourse, MLOps Community hosts meetups, produces podcasts, and shares written content to surface best practices, workflows, and tooling insights. Its events span topics such as model deployment, versioning, monitoring, data quality, and the human elements of production AI systems. The group is intentionally practitioner-led, ensuring a focus on implementation over hype. Notably, the community has gained recognition for being a bridge between enterprise and startup ecosystems, and for demystifying the complexity of operationalizing ML in real-world contexts. As the MLOps field matures, this community plays a pivotal role in shaping its culture, tooling, and ethical boundaries. I’m a member and love it — because it cuts through the noise. This isn’t one of those AI-hype echo chambers. It’s builders talking to builders, sharing scars and strategies in real time. Whenever I dip in, I feel like I’m sitting at the grown-ups' table of ML — the ones who’ve actually shipped and maintained models, not just theorized about them.
