Mythos

Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game (RPG) originally created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, and first published in 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules, Inc. (TSR). The game allows players to assume the roles of fictional characters in a fantasy world, guided by a Dungeon Master (DM) who narrates the setting and orchestrates the story and mechanics. Gameplay involves storytelling, improvisation, and rules-based interaction, often facilitated by dice, character sheets, and rulebooks. D&D has gone through multiple editions, with the current version published by Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro. It is widely credited with establishing the foundation for modern role-playing games and influencing video game and fantasy storytelling genres. The @Instagram reel below feels to encapsulate my own moment of realization that D&D is just @co-creativity of a really great story for the sake of @play. I've not invested too much time into D&D, but I love the ethos of it. ::embed[https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIYtmkpig_j/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==]{provider=instagram,type=card}
