Ryan Handel is the co-founder and CEO of FIXE, a Los Angeles–based 🏷️#founder-led startup that provides bookkeeping and financial-management software built specifically for restaurants. FIXE integrates sales, payroll, vendor payments, and inventory data to produce timely, accurate financials, aiming to save restaurant operators time and money. He co-founded the company in 2019 with Scott Leabman, who brings the finance background to complement Handel's operating experience.

Handel spent more than 20 years in the restaurant industry before building FIXE. A graduate of Cornell's School of Hotel Administration, he held roles at restaurants including Spago and Grill Concepts, and in 2010 opened his own restaurant, Simplethings, which he grew to four locations — the experience that surfaced the bookkeeping pain point FIXE addresses. He has also served as a board member for Tacos 1986 and is active in LA's restaurant and hospitality community.
