When Georgoukalis, the former Head of Growth at Typeform, was asked "What does it mean to hold space? What does it mean to create a space for a community to be?" she answered:

At Typeform, we tried to make every communication count; Make everything matter by collecting and sharing these communications in a way that's meaningful and allows the real conversation to come up to the surface.

Georgoukalis spoke of the initiates that Typeform ran to educate their users on how to go beyond information collection and use their surveys for conversation facilitation. A critical part of this, she added, was sharing the data gathered back with the community that contributed their answers.

Georgoukalis stressed the need to pay attention to the data that's being shared as much as the data that's being collected. Allowing for connections to happen through the purposeful exchange in communication is a key part of what gives life to the community that supports a brand.
