General Assembly, or GA, is a private, for-profit education organization which runs twenty facilities and offers education on subjects such as web development, user experience design, digital marketing, data science, and machine learning. [1][2] Based in New York, GA was co-founded by @Adam Pritzker, Jake Schwartz, Matthew Brimer, and Brad Hargreaves in early 2011. [1][2] The company was purchased by staffing firm Adecco in 2018 for $412.5m. [2][3] General Assembly's mission was to create a global community of individuals empowered to do the work they love. @John Zdanowski served as the Chief Financial Officer from 2012 to 2015.
