Objective

'So Now You Know, Personal Stories in Motion: The Queer Community' is a performance concept that integrates autobiographical LGBTQIA+ narratives with dance and theatre. Created under the artistic direction of Mixed eMotion Theatrix, it uses words, music, and choreography to portray lived experiences related to love, family, identity formation, and personal transformation. The piece is directed and choreographed by Kate Coleman, with additional choreography by Janet Roston and members of the ensemble. Dramaturgy and story development are guided by Executive Director Ryan Bergmann. The production is performed by a cast of interdisciplinary artists who embody and voice the stories that shape the show.
