Bryan Walley is the co-founder and CEO of Forward Inheritance, a California 🏷️#fintech company focused on inheritance and legacy planning. Forward helps families organize estate documents, communicate across generations, and unlock home equity ahead of the "Great Wealth Transfer" through tools including its FAM (Forward Asset Management) inheritance portal and Home Equity Investment products. The company was launched out of venture studio Struck Capital.
Before Forward, Walley spent roughly 12 years at City National Bank, where he ran the Exactuals fintech payments platform, and his background includes banking-technology work such as a patent for processing banking transactions and the EASI Link project connecting accounting systems to bank processing. He describes himself as a career fintech operator centered on software, payments, and financial technology, and frames Forward's mission as replacing family financial silence with transparency, accountability, and proactive planning.
I met Bryan at a founder dinner co-hosted by 📝Samuel Adams of 📝Bixby and 📝Thomas Kang of 📝Fenwick & West.
