Mythos

Rythm Health is a San Francisco–based health-testing company selling a monthly at-home blood-test subscription that tracks 25+ biomarkers, processed in its own lab and reported through an AI-powered dashboard.

Members collect a small capillary sample at home with a self-administered, FDA-cleared device — identified by reviewers as the Tasso+ — and schedule a free pickup. The company states it operates its own CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited laboratory rather than routing samples to a third party, and quotes results within 48 hours. The panel spans hormones (total and free testosterone, estradiol, progesterone, SHBG, cortisol), thyroid (TSH, free T3, free T4), cardiovascular markers (ApoB, LDL, HDL, hsCRP, remnant cholesterol), metabolic markers (vitamin D, ferritin, fructosamine, triglycerides, uric acid), and basic kidney, liver, and blood-count markers, plus derived outputs such as a biological age estimate and trend tracking.

The subscription lists at $79 per month with a discounted first month, allows skipping up to 90 days or cancelling without fees, and is HSA/FSA eligible. Company-profile databases list Rythm as founded in 2024, with Robby Wade as CEO.

Rythm positions against annual-snapshot services such as 📝Function Health, which tests roughly 100 biomarkers twice a year through Quest Diagnostics. Rythm trades breadth for frequency: a smaller panel repeated monthly, suited to tracking trends in a defined set of markers rather than broad screening.

An 📝Instagram ad put Rythm in front of me, and I wanted to see how it compared with Function Health. At about $70, it was an easy trial — a monthly stream of extra data to hand my AI agent as it helps me understand and manage my health.
