Hey Legend,
"Language is the most important instrument of civilization."
I've recently begun reading 📝The Meaning of Meaning; a pioneering book about the science of symbolism, and how language influences thought. In it, authors 📝C. K. Ogden and 📝I. A. Richards identify that all understanding comes from within the people; not from the words they interpret.
And yet, as 📝Dr. Jennifer Gunsaullus recently reminded me, "We only have our words." In many ways, language is a finite means to reach an infinite goal.
Words mean nothing by themselves, it is only when a thinker makes use of them that they stand for anything, or, in one sense, have '📝meaning'.
"[We] attempt to deal directly with difficulties raised by the influence of language upon thought. Not to then learn to speak in a 'perfect' way, but rather to learn what it means to speak imperfectly."
We can only admit evidence drawn from introspection when we know how to appraise it. We only attempt to appraise it when we are conscious of it. We can only be conscious of it when we pay attention to it. And yet, with greater and greater frequency, we find ourselves too broke to even pay attention.
As 📝Judy Estrin put it, "the world is choking on 📝Digital Pollution."
In the past decade, we have seen 📝Authoritarian Technologies like Facebook and Google co-opt our need for human connection and desire for convenience in the pursuit of corporate dominance; diminishing the human spirit for profit.
Our hyper-connected world enables hyperspeed communication, but it has been designed at every level to bankrupt us of our attention.
Escaping this intangible prison doesn't mean throwing our phones in the ocean and retreating to mountain-top ashrams (although that's one path). We must only be conscious; paying attention to the present to 📝Be Here Now.
Our attention is one manifestation of our 📝Spiritual Capital and, like most things, cultivating spiritual capital is a practice; not a process.
To help us with this, we have created a higher authority of technology; a tool for rediscovering the gods within us by engineering our subconscious. Moreover, a technology not driven by the acquisition of financial capital. Instead, it's being 📝co-created as an art project and built into a kind of spiritual co-op.
The technology is the world's first 📝spirit check; a writing assistant that makes space for attention by interrupting negative 📝introjects (the incorporation of attitudes or ideas) and prompting moments of consciousness.

Yes, the name '📝Spiritual Bro' is silly. Since it seems that most of the world isn't ready to be present with themselves, being 📝Meticulously Ridiculous felt to be a more effective "growth hack" for the engineering of enlightenment.

Besides, youth isn't the time for play, it's 📝play that keeps us youthful.
