Objective
Nonlinear Storytelling is a narrative technique, sometimes used in literature, film, hypertext websites, and other narratives, where events are portrayed, for example, out of chronological order.
The technique can be used where the narrative does not follow a direct pattern of events, such as parallel plotlines, dream immersions, or narrating another story inside the main plot line—tangents.
Nonlinear storytelling is often used to mimic the structure and recall of human memory. We built Mythos One with the nonlinear storytelling of the Choose Your Own Adventure series in mind.
The medium is a Living System and makes way for continual reflection and growth.
