Thea, short for @Promethea, is my 2021 @Ducati Streetfighter V4. She is the younger sister of @Jessica, my 2012 @Ducati Streetfighter 848 which was with me for 3 years and 25k miles. While I'd yearned for her throughout the 18 motorcycle-less months after Jessica's radiator was cracked by a parking car, I only test rode her to prove to myself that her four-cylinder, 1103 cc engine which produces a staggering 208 lbs. of horsepower was just too much. Alas, it was her computer system that made riding her truly transformative and, days later, she came home. In our first two years together, we shared seventeen thousand joyous miles together. Thea is, as one reviewer said, "both beauty and beast." She's a baby doll under 30 MPH, but always ready to let everyone within a mile radius know that the road is hers with a twist of her throttle.
