Mythos

Roland Sands Design (RSD) is a Southern California–based 🏷️#motorcycle-brand founded in 2005 that has become a leading name in performance-driven customization and apparel. Known for pushing boundaries in design, RSD produces custom motorcycles across genres ranging from café racers to high-performance choppers, as well as a wide range of performance parts, protective gear, and riding apparel. Its products combine engineering precision with bold, heritage-inspired aesthetics, appealing to riders who value both function and style. The brand is also a cultural force, hosting events such as the Moto Beach Classic and the Super Hooligan National Championship, which highlight its commitment to accessible racing and community engagement. Collaborations with major manufacturers like Harley-Davidson, 📝Ducati, BMW, and Yamaha have expanded its influence, while its independently owned structure keeps it closely tied to its creative roots. Although shaped by the vision of founder Roland Sands, RSD has established itself as a distinct and enduring presence in global motorcycle culture.

I first encountered Rolland Sands through 📝Kris Van Damme, who wore his Clash jacket with quilted cross stitching that matched his bike’s design. My own connection deepened when I bought my first jacket alongside my third bike, 📝Thea Swichkow, in 2021. I later added three more during their 2024 sample sale—including a one-of-one metallic gold piece marked on its label as the “God Cow.”
