Seth Lesky is a 🏷️#software-engineer, 🏷️#entrepreneur, and the 🏷️#technical-founder of 📝LaunchPass, a web application for managing paid-access 📝Slack and Discord communities at scale.
Lesky holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona, with a technical stack spanning Product Design, Web Application Development, JavaScript, React, and NodeJS. He has a strong business development background across the internet industry and currently operates as a 🏷️#digital-nomad and 🏷️#community-steward. LaunchPass emerged from his early read on the pay-for-access community model — that managed-membership tooling for chat communities was both nascent and rapidly growing — and has since served thousands of community owners as one of the canonical Slack and Discord paywall providers.
Seth and I first connected in April 2016 in a community called Psychedelic Chat. He reached out about the membership system I'd built for 📝Ghost Influence (community) — at the time, I was the first person offering paid monthly access to a Slack community. I admitted I was using janky duct tape; he said, "Great, because I want to build a product that does exactly that" — and went on to build LaunchPass.
