Objective

Seth Lesky is a #software-engineer, #entrepreneur, and the founder of LaunchPass, a web-based software application designed to help manage a Slack Community. He is a strong business development professional with a demonstrated history of work in the internet industry. Lesky holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Arizona. His technical skillset includes Product Design, Web Application Development, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM), which he possessed at graduation, and has since expanded to include proficiency in JavaScript, React, and NodeJS. He currently also operates as a #digital-nomad and #community-steward.

Subjective

I first connected with Seth in April 2016 within a community called Psychedelic Chat. Our conversations soon evolved into discussions about the potential and rapid growth of the pay-for-access community model. He became curious about the specific software that Ghost Influence (community) used for payment processing and member registration. I admitted we were using a less-than-ideal "shitty custom solution" at the time, which, he shared, helped validate his own idea to develop the superior solution that would become LaunchPass. It's a great example of how community can directly inspire and validate entrepreneurial ideas.
