Mythos

Hearth is a software and fintech platform for home-improvement contractors, founded in 2016 by Anthony Ghosn and Nikhil Pai. It gives roofers, HVAC technicians, plumbers, and other residential trades an all-in-one app for quotes, contracts, invoices, payments, and homeowner financing, helping them sell more jobs and protect their margins. The product serves local contracting businesses that have historically run on manual, paper-based sales processes.

Hearth started by solving customer financing — letting contractors offer homeowners monthly-payment options at the point of sale — and expanded into a broader business-management suite spanning the contractor's quote-to-cash workflow. It has more recently moved toward an AI layer: a virtual employee that answers calls around the clock, qualifies leads, books appointments, and follows up on estimates so contractors stop leaking revenue. Backed by investors including 8VC and Founders Fund, the company has raised on the order of $50M and is among the faster-growing players in the home-services software space.

I cut my teeth in growth here before the AI wave, selling software to contractors — a market where dashboards lie and you only learn what works by going and seeing the job site.
