Trash is the safety net over deletion in 📝Bookmarks & Trash — sending a memo to Trash removes it from every feed but keeps it fully recoverable for thirty days before it's permanently gone. Deletion in MythOS is never sudden: there's always a window to change your mind, and some memos are protected from deletion entirely.
Key Capabilities
- Soft delete — trashing a memo hides it from all feeds without destroying it
- Thirty-day recovery — trashed memos stay restorable for 30 days, with a per-memo countdown
- Restore — bring any trashed memo back to your library in one action
- Purge and empty — permanently delete a single memo now, or empty the whole bin
- Creator-memo protection — profile creator memos cannot be trashed or deleted
- Clean removal — a permanent delete also clears the memo's links, embeddings, and community posts
Getting Started
- From the memo feed, send a memo to Trash — it leaves your 📝Memo Feed immediately
- Open your Trash page — reachable from the feed's trash pill — to see trashed memos and their countdowns
- Restore a memo to return it, or purge it to delete it now
- After thirty days, a trashed memo is permanently removed automatically

- Why can't I delete my creator memo? Profile creator memos are protected — they can't be trashed or permanently deleted.
