Billing & Plans is the money layer of 📝MythOS Platform & Account — the tier you subscribe to, what that tier unlocks across the platform, and the separate prepaid balance that funds AI chat. Two independent systems share one settings page: a monthly or yearly subscription, and a pay-as-you-go wallet.
How It Works
Plans form a ladder. Free is the default for every new account; 📝Scribe, 📝Scholar, and 📝Oracle each add to the tier below. Nothing is gated at the front door — you write, search, journal, and use the graph on every tier. What a plan buys is the ability to publish and distribute: uploading media, making memos public, inviting collaborators, connecting agents, running a newsletter, pointing a domain at your library.
Subscriptions run through Stripe, and one page holds all of it. Starting a plan sends you to Stripe's hosted checkout; changing one you already hold happens in place and is prorated. Your renewal date, invoices, and payment details live on the same screen.
Credits are a different thing entirely, and the distinction matters: no plan includes AI credits. Platform credits are a prepaid dollar balance that funds chat when it runs on MythOS's own model keys. Connect your own provider key instead and credits never enter the picture.
