My first job out of college was at 📝General Electric in Syracuse when Jack Welch was CEO. Jack was sometimes called "Neutron Jack" because of decisions to "cut all the people" and leave the buildings intact.

In one of his books that I read long ago, he talked about business managers having to make tough decisions. He said he'd "never seen a manager cut too deeply."

I was reminded of that in a few of the conversations I had with founders in March 2020, as they worked through 📝The Aftermath for Small Businesses.
