David Vivero is an American 🏷️#entrepreneur and the co-founder of 📝Amino, a healthcare navigation platform that helps employers and their employees find high-value care; he led the company as CEO and is listed in public profiles as co-founder and chairman. Earlier he co-founded 📝RentJuice, a rental listings and marketing platform for landlords and brokers. Vivero holds a BA in economics from Harvard College (2005) and an MBA from Harvard Business School (2008).
Vivero co-founded RentJuice in 2008 while at business school, and Zillow completed its acquisition of the company in June 2012; he then served as Zillow's VP of Rentals. He went on to co-found Amino, which raised venture funding from investors including Accel and Sequoia before Capital Rx acquired it in 2025. He has also been a General Partner at Red Swan Ventures and was named a Forbes "30 Under 30" entrepreneur.
We met David when we presented the case study on 📝Second Life to his class at HBS. Later he came to San Francisco and told us about RentJuice, the startup he built at HBS — a story recorded in the Harvard Business School case on RentJuice. We listened, decided he was a polymath, invested, and joined his board; I later became an investor and board member at Amino.
