A Virtual Corporation is a Story of the Cooperative that is being incubated inside the 📝One Inc Cooperative: a venture that exists first as a narrative in memos and takes form as co-creators commit to it.
Stories start out as memos describing the Story in 📝Mythos One. As co-creators emerge, they develop a 📝Co-Creator Agreement. The process follows the principle of 📝Incubate until hatched: the corporation stays virtual until its story and its people are ready.
Examples inside the cooperative include One Financial, 📝One Studio, Robotrading Inc, and 📝Silk Formulas. Examples that predate the cooperative include 📝Spiritual Bro and 📝Lendmark.
In John's usage the term differs from the 1990s management sense popularized by William Davidow and Michael Malone's book The Virtual Corporation (1992), which described a company that networks outside suppliers and partners to deliver products without owning every capability. Here "virtual" marks a stage of incubation within the cooperative rather than an operating model.
