Mythos

Bell+Ivy is a personal branding and integrated marketing communications agency founded in 2016 by 📝Cynthia Johnson and 📝Zach Binder. It builds the public identities of companies, executives, and thought leaders — defining their message and amplifying it by treating the people inside an organization as its greatest asset. The firm is based in Santa Monica, California, with a second office in Las Vegas.

The agency was originally incorporated as Ipseity, Inc. and rebranded to Bell+Ivy in September 2017; its name honors Alexander Graham Bell and Ivy Lee, a founding figure of modern public relations. Bell+Ivy grew directly out of 📝RankLab, the earlier agency Johnson and Binder ran together, and the brand-development work they led after RankLab's acquisition by 📝American Addiction Centers. In 2018 the firm acquired the Los Angeles public relations company PR PROS. Its clients are typically founders building toward funding or exit and investors developing the personal brands that raise portfolio value.

I built Bell+Ivy on a thesis — that the future of marketing is real people, not packaging. The hard part was never the work; it was waiting for the world to catch up.
