Discharge is the shaking, warmth, or sighing that can follow the release of held activation.
It may show up after a hold, a stretch, or a pause. In ๐Somatic Practice it is allowed, not produced. Forcing a tremor is the wrong version. Discharge is a possible response, not a diagnosis, not psychotherapy, and not a claim that a stored event has been emptied. If it becomes overwhelm, the work titrates or stops.
Clients feel heat, a shiver, a long exhale. Panic or shutdown is a stop. Persistent distress is a referral.
