Mythos

Bracing is holding muscles tight to feel stable, a habit the work aims to make unnecessary.

A locked belly, a clenched jaw, a shoulder that will not drop: the person is using effort as a substitute for stack. In 📝Postural / Structural Realignment that effort is information, not a core program to double down on. When bones can carry more of the load, the extra grip often has less to do. Bracing is a pattern, not a diagnosis of anxiety or of a weak core as a medical fact.

Clients feel it as the only way they know to stand or to lift. Cueing is usually breath and a smaller task they can do without the squeeze, not "relax" as an order. Panic, dizziness, or pain that appears when the brace comes off is a reason to slow, not to strip the brace away.

The aim is ease, not a limp collapse.
