Grounding is feeling weight through the feet or seat as the starting point for organizing upward.
Before a stack, a reach, or a lift, the person is asked to notice contact with the floor or the chair. In 📝Postural / Structural Realignment that contact is the base the rest of the pattern has to live on. The word is practical: weight, sole, sit bones. It is not a spiritual claim, not 📝energy work, and not a diagnosis of being "ungrounded."
Clients feel it as heaviness they had been hovering out of, or as a sway that settles. Cueing is ordinary — heels, balls of the feet, the whole seat — at a dose they can keep while breathing. Dizziness or a fall risk is a stop.
Home practice is the same cue standing in line, not a longer meditation unless they want one.
