Mythos

RPE is rate of perceived exertion, a 1-to-10 sense of how hard an effort felt, used to report load without a lab.

In 📝Sports Therapy it is how the person names 📝Load, not a heart-rate fact and not a diagnosis. A bout that felt like an 8 when the plan was a 5 is 📝Load Management information. A number does not guarantee tissue safety. Acute or unexplained pain still follows the 📝Referral Rule, not a higher RPE to push through.

Clients can give a number without a coach's chart. Guessing a 10 to impress is noise; "I don't know" is useful.
